Nanay's Lomi -- sarapppppp!

Lomi is a popular food for Filipinos, it is a Filipino-Chinese dish na gawa sa egg noodles. Usually pag bumibili kami ng noodles sa market, maraming different sizes of noodles, lahat halos are called miki but with different sizes. The thick one ang pang "lomi".

This has always been one of my favorites, I always ask my Nanay to cook for me, especially during rainy days.

Nanay's lomi is always the best!

Nanay's Lomi

Ingredients

½ kl. lomi noodles
½ kl. shrimps
¼ kl. squid balls
8 cups shrimp broth
Knorr Shrimp Cubes
2 tbsp. soy Sauce
2 pcs. eggs
2 tbsp. cornstarch dissolved in water
Onion and garlic pang-gisa
Salt and pepper

Cooking Procedure :

Remove the head and the shell of the shrimp. Chop the head until crushed and add water(salain)to become a shrimp broth.

Saute onion and garlic, add the squid ball & 2 tablespoon soy sauce, add shrimp broth and cubes and boil. Add lomi noodles, and continue boiling, then put the cornstarch dissolved with water to make soup thick.

Add the shrimps and beaten egg and continue stirring. Once cooked, serve topped with some onion spring. ('ping, ping, ping, ping'!)
