Ingredients :


1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup water
1 sachet Seasoning
1 tsp ground Pepper
Atsuete powder or food coloring
2 eggs, well-beaten

1 cup beansprout
1/4 kl shrimp, shelled or NOT
5 tofu/tokwa thinly sliced
White Onion/ sweet onion
Kalabasa thinly sliced(optional)
1 cup vegetable oil

For the dip, mix:

4 tbsps. soy sauce
6 tbsps. Vinegar
1 medium Red Onion
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
Siling Labuyo


Mix water and flour until smooth.

Add eggs, ground pepper, atsuete powder and MAGGI magic sarap , mix thoroughly.

Arrange in a saucer, put batter first then put beansprout.

Put the Shrimps at least two pcs. 2 sliced tokwa/tofu, onions sliced and kalabasa (optional)

Put batter again onto top for coating.

Prepare skillet or wok by heating oil.

Drop heaping tablespoonful of mixture in hot oil.

Take care that the fritters do not stick to each other.

Fry until crisp and dry on paper towels.

Repeat procedure for the rest batch ....

Continue to add remaining oil as needed until all the fritters are cooked.

Serve in a large dish with dip of vinegar, chopped onions and siling labuyo (optional).
